Wildcrafting in Mazama

We headed over to Mazama for the weekend to recharge and do some wild crafting. The air was crisp and the sound of the river made for a perfect setting to build a Pine Wreath.

First we gathered plenty of Pine Boughs, some with Pine Cones still attached.................
Then we started wiring the Pine Boughs on the wreath base working our way around.............

Here we are wiring
boughs around
the wreath base.
This is a large base
about 30 inches which
makes about a 36
inch wreath when
completed.

Here is the completed Pine Bough Wreath!
Makes a beautiful Holiday statement, hung outside the wreath will last through the season.
We'll have a few of these at our upcoming vintage sale,  2nd Saturdayz...hope to see you there!

The smell of all of these wonderful scents is swirling around the house here at Circle Creek Home, smells like summer! All of our soap is made fresh from scratch in small batches and poured into wooden molds. We do not add oxide for color, we prefer the rich golden color of the natural oils. Handcrafted and hand cut by us every time and allowed to cure for a minimum of 30 days to assure a high quality, longer lasting bar.

Vintage Wood Gets New Life

We love to salvage old vintage wood here at Circle Creek Home and repurpose it into some great usable treasure. The neighbor took down his 100 year old barn and some great batten board fir planks were up for grabs. We turned those barn boards into some really cool Industrial Farmhouse Tables. Great as a kitchen island, dining or buffet table, project/work table or in the greenhouse for potting up plants.

Artist Desk, for displaying or creating.

We salvaged sections of vintage chippy white picket fences and made these fantastic wood totes perfect for gardening, displaying or as serving trays.

We are always on the prowl for a stash of vintage wood to create some new cool finds so check out our shop Circle Creek Home or one of our sales for the latest in recycling fun! John and Brenda
